Well, unpopular and socially clumsy, she keeps in touch with Megan as a lifeline for social acceptance. Together, the two young girls form a deep friendship based on common needs. The two girls regularly communicate via webcam or chat with a mobile phone, and even meet men online. While Megan is looking for a friend who is different from the usual hanger, an online friend introduces her to a 17-year-old boy named Josh in the chat room. Megan and Josh quickly connected, leaving Amy feeling a little behind. One day, Megan went to see Josh in person and they never saw him again. Ami focuses on finding her friend.
